Ironically, those of Julius Caesar could fit in quite well: Veni, vidi… Indeed we’ve come, and we’ve seen… Obelix conquering the Tournament of the Indomitable 2007 title!
No writer could have conceived such a thrilling conclusion for this opposition between Asterix and Obelix. Only your votes could make the decision! And so they did, after a breathtaking tie-break that our historian druids already consider as great as the one which occurred in 1980 A.D. in Londinium, with a Viking called Borg confronting a young Mac Enroe from America.
But Obelix has no intention to rest on his laurels. He has a new appointment next year with all the best athletes of the Known World on the occasion of the Asterix at the Olympic Games movie release!
